STUDIO TALKS – visits to artists’ studios.
The Studio Talks encounters offer the exceptional opportunity for discovering the most intimate sites of an artist’s creativity, that is, his/her studio. A visit to an artist’s studio offers one the opportunity to explore the subjects and linguistics of his/her creativity, a direct and wide-open encounter with the actual working laboratory-space where art is “made.” This extraordinary channel for knowledge becomes a precious occasion for an in-depth comprehension of the complexities of contemporary artistic experimentation.
In order to encourage the most genuine and immediate conversation possible between the public and an artist in a secluded, informal and non-academic atmosphere, the number of participants at each encounter requires advance reservation and is limited to a maximum of 12 visitors. A curator or critic will present each visit.
This initiative is promoted by the TRA ART Tuscan Region, a regional network for contemporary art.
